We've added some bird feeders filled with fatballs to our garden and have allowed some of the trees to grow a little more naturally to make space for birds to stop by and build their nests. We've added our own bird box and the children have been making their own bird feeders for our guests to enjoy. We've had quite a few birds stop by, from larger pigeons and doves down to smaller sparrows, starlings and tits and all seem to be enjoying our garden. The kids love it!

Thank you. I feel your pain, lol. I only captured these because I had my camera out taking photos of the kids...I'm usually far too late too x
DeleteOh wow what great photos - especially love that second one. It's so nice seeing more birds in the garden isn't it. POD always gets really excited when she sees a bird so I can imagine the reaction your end. Lovely post, thank you for sharing with #alphabetphoto

DeleteLovely pics, I like to encourage birds into my garden too and then spend all my time with my nose in a bird book trying to figure out what they are :-)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds just like me! Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteLove these pictures, and I bet spotting the birds is lots of fun. We've been trying to encourage birds into our garden but it doesn't seem to have worked at the moment...which might have something to do with the dog!
