C is for...

I found some giant coloured chalks for the bargain price of £1 in The Range about a month back and my two have made good use of them over the last 30 days or so. They love practising writing their numbers and letters on the patio, making a hopscotch to play with, drawing pictures of things they find in the garden and colouring all manner of things in with them. Nothing is safe! The patio is their main target, along with the walls of the house, the fence-panels, their playhouse and even the garden furniture. Thankfully it all washes off easily! Although I've left their masterpiece along the walls, it makes the garden so much more colourful as they keep adding to it, brick by gaudy brick :)

  1. I love the soft pastel colours of your chalks. It was £1 very well spent. I'll bet the little folk are very proud of their outdoor chalk gallery. I love the coloured bricks. They look very glamorous. What a great way to keep them entertained. All the best, Bonny

  2. We have a bucket of jumbo chalks too. I leave it by the back door. Love going outside and finding they've used them again. Your brick wall is worth leaving. So colourful. #AlphabetPhoto

  5. We love chunky chalks, the children love doodling all over the outside walls and then the rain washes it all away so they can start all over again #alphabetphoto
