Day 4 : In 10 Years #BEDAoutmumbered

In 10 years I will be 36! My Husband will be 35 and our two lovable terrors will be 14 and 13! They'll have just started Upper School, if we still have the 3-tier system where we live (there's been a lot of talk of moving to a 2-tier system) and we'll have just entered the dreaded teenage years (eek!). Our lives will be starting to fill up with GCSE talk, requests for night's out with their friends and the constant battle to keep them off their computers or phones (if they have them) just long enough to enjoy a family meal together.

My Husband and I will have just celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary and 18 years together and I hope we will be just as strong a couple as we are now, if not stronger. I would love to say that we would own our home but unless there is a dramatic change in circumstance over the next 10 years I don't see that being so. Hopefully we'll still be happy in the home we live in now or in another just as lovely. Hopefully we'll have finished decorating too!

I hope I'll have found my way back into the workplace; either in Administration again or have completed an ILEX or Law Degree and finally found my way into the Legal profession as I'd dreamt. If not...hopefully the few hours I do working from home will be ticking along still and my blogging will become an even bigger and more established part of my life.

I don't see our lives being much different in 10 years time...and that's great! I see our little, happy family of four carrying on as we are. Still together, still close and still enjoying each others company (although they'll be teenagers then so will probably think Aaron and I are the epitome of uncool). I think we'll be the same, just at a different stage in our lives. I would love for my Husband and I to have a little more time together when they're grown up though :)
