Reasons To Be Cheerful #R2BC - 07

Reasons To Be Cheerful (#R2BC) is being hosted by the lovely Becky at Lakes Single Mum; make sure you pop over and say hello!

GRAND DESIGNS LIVE
I was kindly sent a pair of complimentary tickets from British Gas to attend the Grand Designs Live event currently taking place at the ExCeL in London (May 3th-11th)! I'm very excited...as is my Mum who I asked to join me. We are going this Friday and it should be a brilliant day filled with lots of home and garden inspiration and maybe some tasty treats and tips from the food section of the show.

#MORRISONSMUM
I'm sure you've seen at least a handful of tweets about Morrison's and the #MorrisonsMum blogger campaign currently taking place. I was delighted to be involved and my little family enjoyed checking out our local store with our vouchers, treating ourselves a little and creating some delicious meals to enjoy over the Bank Holiday weekend.

TOILET TRAINING
It can be hard work for the both of us at times but my youngest is continuing with toilet training and is doing very well, I can't explain how proud of him I am! We're still in the phase of having to take him each hour to try for the toilet but, on the odd occasion, he has told me when he needs to go. I think we're starting to get somewhere. *knocks on wood*

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
With Liam potty training we didn't want to venture too far from home over the weekend so, instead of our usual busy jam-packed couple of days, we enjoyed three rather chilled out days at home and in the garden. It was lovely and the beautiful sunny weather was much appreciated by us all.

    1. Thank you :) It's a lot of hard work for the both of us. My eldest breezed through the whole thing but my youngest seems to be finding it all a bit tricky. He is doing so well though.

    1. It was brilliant :) It's so tricky going out when they're at the early stages of toilet training isn't it. He's getting the hang of it now and we've had a couple of small trips out and they've been successful..maybe a bigger trip soon? x
