At the beginning of the week we had the first signs of growth from our pepper seeds and by Friday a few tiny seedlings had appeared; Terror 1 was very excited to see them growing and is very proud that the seeds she had planted were already starting to grow. We still haven't gotten around to planting our spring onions and garlic, hopefully we'll find some time over the Easter Holiday's to plant them.
Above is our seeds on Tuesday and below on Friday...growing quickly!
The birds seem to be enjoying the fat balls that we bought and have devoured 4 of them within two weeks. Our visitors seem to be very happy with the position of our feeder too; it is placed just under a tree and they are able to hop up and down from the tree to the feeder as much as they like.
The increase of birds into our garden also attracted interest from, what we think was, a Sparrowhawk!
Even birds loves your garden! #countrykids
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I'm not sure if it's my garden or the supply of food... lol x
DeleteWow to the Sparrow Hawk - he/she is beautiful and your seeds are coming along nicely! I look forward to seeing how they grow, thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteWe were quite impressed to see him too. My Parents were at our house at the time and were stood taking snaps as they'd never seen one before either x
DeleteThat's fab, well done on some successful growing! You've inspired me to encourage more birds to our garden too :-) x #countrykids
ReplyDeleteYay, go for it :) We were surprised just how many came along just by adding a couple of bird feeders x
DeleteGreat to have a sparrowhawk, we get one sitting on our bird table sometimes (waiting for a meal) #countrykids
ReplyDeleteOoo, lucky you!! This is the first time I've ever seen one. They definitely seemed very interested in all the little birds ;) x
DeleteLove the birds in your garden. We have been planting seeds this week - middle man thought they would grow infront of him! #countrykids
ReplyDeleteOh bless him, my youngest was expecting faster results too lol. Hope your little seedlings appear soon for him x
DeleteGreat bird pics, unfortunately our very agile cat appears to have scared off our little feathered friends this year. Good luck with the seeds, we'll have to compare note over the coming months #CountryKids
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :) Definitely, hope all our little seeds grow well x
